Forex Risk Management Calculator

Position Size

To begin, you must define your position size by filling out the Position Size form on the left. This form asks for the following information:

  • The currency of your trading account.
  • The balance of your trading account.
  • The currency pair you will be trading.
  • Your desired lot size (Volume).

Margin

  • Choose the leverage for your trading account

    • This will calculate the margin value in your selected account currency. The box will turn red if a position cannot be opened, or green if a position can be opened.

Modifying these values will also update the margin value.

Profit/Loss

To determine the trade direction, select either BUY or SELL and enter the entry level, take profit, and stop loss values. The profit and loss amounts will be displayed in the boxes below.
